Tom was one of the lights of many people's lives -a great colleague who graduated with my daughter from Georgetown Med and later a friend of the family. When he was in his residency at OHSU , my husband Cappy had a kidney transplant there. Tom acted as an advocate and saw us all through a very difficult recovery, even though he was not directly involved in my husband's healthcare.
